How to Add Built-in Camera (Android)

The DVR.Webcam app will automatically find your device's built-in cameras. You can select the camera from the applications menu on top right corner of the screen.

Audio can be added to webcams. Be sure to select the correct audio device associated with your camera.

If you are using a device with two internal cameras (front and back), only one camera can be accessed at one time (i.e., they cannot be used at the same time). This is due to a limitation of the Android OS.

How to Add IP Cameras (Android)

You can add IP cameras from your home network. The app currently supports MJPEG and JPEG cameras. The Windows, Mac and iOS version also supports H.264 cameras.

To add an IP camera, you will need to enter the camera's access URL for its image stream. The app has a built-in search tool to help you find the URL. Simply enter your camera make/model into the search box, and locate your camera. Then, enter the required fields such as the camera's IP address, login ID, and password, etc.

If your IP camera is not supported, please contact us.
